ESA astronomers decided to save their eyesight and set the AnomalyMatch AI on Hubble's massive 35-year archive. The results were shocking: in just three days (and on a single graphics card!), the neural network sifted through 100 million images. The result of this "spring cleaning": over 800 previously unknown objects were discovered that humans had simply overlooked.
